Registration is now open!

Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the registration date). All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Student registration is available for those studying and who hold a current Student Identification Card. To be eligible you will need to upload a copy of your student ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your student status during the registration process.

Early-mid career researchers (EMCR) within 10 years of their PhD (excluding career disruptions) are offered a reduced registration fee in recognition of their importance to their relevant organisations and the increased financial constraints they currently face. To be eligible for the reduced registration rate, EMCRs should upload at the time of registration a brief letter signed by their Head of Department/School confirming that they fit the eligibility criteria.

Developing economies country registration is available for attendees from these developing countries.

Registration inclusions

Full registration fees include:

  • Attendance at all congress sessions
  • Welcome reception ticket (1)
  • Morning and afternoon teas and lunches (excluding pre-congress workshops)

Day registration fees include:

  • Attendance at all congress sessions on the nominated day
  • Morning and afternoon teas and lunches on the nominated day

Tickets to the congress and student dinner are not included in the registration fee and will be charged as an optional separate item.

Accommodation and travel expenses are additional to the registration fees.

When you register online, you will receive confirmation of your registration within a few minutes. You can pay your registration fees by EFT or online using MasterCard or Visa.

A tax invoice will be emailed to the address you supply once you’ve submitted your details and confirmed your method of payment.

If you do not receive this confirmation email please first check your spam folder then contact the congress organiser via wcp2026@expertevents.com.au.

Please note that registrations will not be finalised until payment in full is received.

  • Credit card payments—may be made by MasterCard or Visa. Payments will appear as Expert Events on your credit card statement.
  • EFT payments—banking details for direct deposit will be given on your tax invoice. Please send your remittance to wcp2026@expertevents.com.au

Payment is due 14 days from the date of registration or prior to the commencement of the congress (whichever is first).

If you are seeking the early registration rate, payment must be made prior to the early registration deadline.

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the congress organiser.

Standard cancellation fees:

  • If you cancel your registration for any reason before 5 pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026, you will receive a full refund of monies actually received, less a cancellation fee of AUD110 incl. GST
  • after 5pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026 you have no entitlement to a refund of any amount.

If any changes occur to the congress as advertised, reasonable endeavours will be made to arrange for reasonable substitutes, subject to availability and the circumstances that made the change(s) necessary or desirable. Notice of substantial and material changes will be placed on the website. You are responsible for checking for such notifications/alerts prior to the Event.

If you are processing this registration on behalf of an attendee, you must ensure that the attendee is aware of, and complies with the terms and conditions of registration and attendance.
